Salaar closes the gap with Animal in USA | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Few projects catch people’s attention even before one frame has been shot and this is exactly what has happened with Prashanth Neel and Prabhas’s upcoming film Salaar- Part One: Ceasefire. Ever since the film was announced, there has been a constant buzz about it amongst the fans of Prabhasand Prashanth Neel and this can be seen from the fact that they got a tremendous amount of support for its advance booking when the film was supposed to release in September, which was later shifted to December because of post production issues. And even now as the film is gearing up to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki on 21st and 22nd December, the advance booking has begun on a strong note.

Though the advance booking will open on a full fledged scale on November 20th, bookings for the film have already opened in limited centers and it has been generating some good numbers. Till Thursday the film had sold just 167 tickets from 3 locations, and by Friday, the number jumped to 956 from 49 locations, collecting $25549 (Rs 21 lakh) with the film still being 35 days away. To put this in context, Animal, which is releasing only two weeks from now, has sold 1484 tickets from 178 locations collecting $26433 (22 lakh) .
The makers of Salaar are all set to release the trailer of the film on December 1, 2023. Besides Prabhas the film also stars Prithviraj, Shruti Haasan and Tinnu Anand. Few days ago there was a rumour that the film will be pushed once to avoid clash with Dunki but it turned out to be just a rumour. Instead the makers announced that the film will be presented in Kerala by Prithviraj himself and confirmed that the film will be releasing as planned on 22nd December.
