IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) and INVOcell are assisted reproductive technologies with distinct methodologies. In IVF, fertilization occurs outside the body, where eggs and sperm are combined in a laboratory, and resulting embryos are then implanted into the uterus. INVOcell, on the other hand, involves placing the egg and sperm in a device called the INVOcell capsule, which is then inserted into the woman’s vagina, allowing fertilization and early embryo development to take place within her body.
